CATHY MOSS

As a botanical artist, the minute and detailed observation of plants has enabled me to appreciate the infinite variety of colour and form that the natural world presents. This has proved to be endlessly fascinating as well as presenting a number of challenges:
how to convey the texture of a leaf or root?
the fragility of blossom, waxiness of petals?
the accurate representation of subtle colour gradation and individual detail occurring in each component leaf?
