Born and brought up in Yorkshire, I moved to London to study for my degree at Middlesex, and went on to have a successful career in graphic design . Although still working as a freelance designer and illustrator – printmaking and painting are a big part of my working life.
Inspiration comes from curiosity and observation usually with drawing as a starting point. I’m not interested in merely a representational view, but want to abstract the elements and add in an emotional and personal perspective.
