Life Drawing in Kemptown

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY – LIFE DRAWING

MARCH – Thursday 15 March 6.45pm

APRIL – Thursday 12 April 6.45pm

Artists are taking up the pencil and the brushpen at our monthly Life Drawing sessions in Kemptown, Brighton.

Organised by The Kemptown Arts Association (who produce the Kemptown Arts Trail brochure) and forming one of our widening activities, ‘Life Drawing in Kemptown’ is a drop-in session, held once a month, on a Thursday evening. It’s open to all artists at whatever level of experience. We are a supportive and friendly group!  We will be drawing the human figure from the observation of a life model, with the session consisting of short poses and longer poses.

Life Drawing is held at Portland cafe in Kemptown.

The session starts at 6.45pm for a drawing start at 7.00pm. It ends at 9.45pm with another fifteen minutes to clear up. There’s a half hour break in the middle when you can enjoy some refreshments from the cafe and you will have the chance to relax and chat with other members of the group.

We supply the model, but bring your own drawing materials and paper. The cost is £8 in cash paid at the venue.

Please drop us and email at [email protected] to reserve your place.
