PHILIP BROWN

I developed an interest in art when I met and married the artist, Susana Brown. Inspired by her work, those in art galleries and exhibitions globally, I endeavoured to emulate the high standard of paintings and sculptures on display.

I paint in oil and sculpt in free form, using clay and recently, porcelain.  The sculptures are fired at home and latterly I started using glaze.

If my initial inspiration to take up art is my wife, Susana, the theme of my work is nature and the human form.
