SARAH GOODFELLOW

I take a lot of influence from Brighton where I live. There are so many juxtapositions in the city by the sea, from the Regency architecture to the fresh graffiti, the urban and country landscapes lying side by side. I love all sorts of mythology and spiritual stories, including fairy stories and again the influence of these can be seen in my work. I have a lifelong love of animals and nature so these are often central in my art. I love to play around in lots of different mediums with particular emphasis on texture and mark making.  I find great joy being in creative energy and try to approach my work with an attitude of play and fun.
